Thank you!

Thank you to the DC Canes that joined us on Saturday, August 25th for DC Public Schools Beautification Day.  We had a great time, and the school looks awesome!

Saturday, August 25th is the Seventh Annual DC Public Schools Beautification Day. Activities will include landscaping, trash pick-up, light painting, planting flowers, setting up classrooms, creating leveled book rooms and other beautification efforts. DCPS will provide the supplies, water, granola bars, fruit snacks and a t-shirt.

Even though as noted we’ll be getting free t-shirts, if you have a Miami t-shirt that you don’t mind getting a little grimy, please wear it! Also, please wear closed toe shoes.

Janney Elementary School is located at 4130 Albemarle Road NW, Washington DC. It is by the AU-Tenleytown metro station (get off on the west side). If you have any trouble the day of the event, text or call Gary Ross at 202-999-5230.

If you are interested in donating new school supplies or books, let me know and I will send you a donation form.
